Edward Hilsum: Silver

Edward Hilsum: Silver debuted at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival.

The star of the spectacular Champions of Magic show spent months on the road with trucks of equipment, entertaining tens of thousands across the UK and America... Now the 'hugely gifted British talent' (Katherine Ryan) is getting back to basics.

In his most intimate show to date, Hilsum leaves behind the pyrotechnics and paraphernalia to reveal “absolutely beautiful illusions” (Broadway Baby) and “immaculate sleight of hand” (The Magic Circle) that “makes you believe in real magic” (Dynamo).

This is a rare chance to experience, up close and personal, the multi award-winning magic that led to Edward becoming the only person to win all three of The Magic Circle’s competitions in the society’s 115 year history.

Edward is delighted to be offering highlights of this new show for private performances - the perfect finale for a special celebration!

Reviews from Edinburgh:

A master of his art... the audience are genuinely stunned. The penultimate trick leaves the onstage volunteer so stunned that she has to apologise for her language before returning to her seat, clearly questioning reality and with a memento and accompanying story that I’m sure she’ll tell for years to come.”‬ (Broadway Baby)

He really is just something special(World Magic Review)

Simply Stunning! I have to say this is one of the top shows I have seen this year at the Fringe, Edward has a sense of wonderment within his magic himself that can only be equalled by a child experiencing Magic for the first time! A true professional I expect to see a great future for this young Magician.” (James Kennedy, Edfringe.com Audience Review)

“Highlight of our Fringe experience, I now believe in magic!!” (Donna Matthews, Edfringe.com Audience Review)

“Absolutely wonderful show - we've been talking about our different theories about how Edward managed to dupe us all (young and old!) for the last 2 hours! A definite must-see, you won't believe your eyes.... magic *is* real...” (Lyndsey, Edfringe.com Audience Review)
