I’ve just had a call from the President of The Magic Circle, Noel Britten, to let me know I’ve been promoted to a Member of The Inner Magic Circle (MIMC) with Gold Star!
The Inner Magic Circle is limited to just 300 members worldwide and promotion is decided by the President alone. Noel recently set out his criteria for awarding MIMCs as: contributing to The Circle and the world of magic in an exceptional way in addition to having “well above average, close to exceptional” performing ability.
After reading the criteria Noel set, I genuinely didn’t think I’d be in the running! So getting the call from Noel, someone I respect so much, was very special. Looking back, it was Noel who ignited my love of variety, as producer and host of the extraordinary International Magic Gala Shows.
The fact that he has such high standards and also knowing this is the first MIMC Noel has awarded since becoming President, makes it very special to me.
