Virtual shows are definitely here to stay, however it’s been a pleasure to also be busy performing at Christmas parties in person this year!

On my nights off, I’ve loved getting back to the theatre to see the new shows. There were a couple of stand-outs:

The London Palladium holds a special place in my heart as the home of variety entertainment, and I loved the panto there two years ago. I returned for ‘Pantoland at the Palladium’ which didn’t disappoint. A line-up full of stars, I’ve been a huge fan of superstar ventriloquist Paul Zerdin for as long as I can remember, seeing him regularly bring the house down at international gala shows and magic conventions. This show is no exception, with Paul, or more precisely his puppet ‘Sam’, stealing the show with a moment with Donny Osmond - no spoilers, you have to see it!

Pre-show excitement!

I had the joy of adding a touch of magic to a new production of ‘The Wiz: The Super Soul Musical Wonderful Wizard of Oz‘. A show I’d never seen before, I was blown away by the talent of both the cast and creative team, plus it’s a show full of hits - I’ve been listening to the original cast recording on repeat! It deserves all the rave reviews it’s receiving - if you’re able to get to Manchester, this is another must-see! Running until 16 January 2022 at the Hope Mill Theatre.
