In my last year at uni, I spent most of my time (maybe a little bit too much!) putting together some variety shows! I love variety and it makes me incredibly happy to see proper variety shows becoming increasingly popular.
The Old Vic showed us exactly how it should be done with an outstanding line-up of talent. Top comedy, live music, amazing magic and some unique never to be repeated performances, including David Williamson performing with 'The Learned Ewe' - a real sheep!! The rumour is this show was the first of a series of variety nights, so keep your eyes peeled. I'll be first in the queue when the next is announced!
It's also been fantastic to see magic make a comeback in London. Just a few weeks ago, Dynamo was in town proving he can do it live. The Illusionists, playing at the Shaftesbury Theatre, features some world-class magic and just down the road at the Palace Theatre, Derren Brown is performing his new show 'Miracle'. Derren truly is the master and this show is a must-see.
Speaking of big magic shows, I'm delighted to be back on tour with Champions of Magic in Spring 2016. If we're coming near you, do come and say hi!
