My first MAGIC Live two years ago was the best magic convention I'd ever been to. I returned to Las Vegas with high expectations, and this year's convention did not disappoint!
From the dealers room filled with big toys, making you feel like a little kid again, lectures from the best performers, creators and thinkers in magic, to the surprise shows featuring the world's finest acts, everyone goes that extra step at MAGIC Live, making it a convention like no other.
My 2 months in Belarus is coming to an end, but there's one question which people keep asking me: "Why Belarus?" Both locals and friends back home seemed surprised that I was here! So I'm going to try and answer that now! Before I came to Belarus, I had never performed an entire show myself. It has been incredible to do my own show for the first time and to see it grow with every performance.
Very sad to hear of the passing of Amos Levkovitch - One of the greatest dove magicians the world has ever seen.
Unfortunately I never met Amos, but I learnt a huge amount from watching him, hearing his stories and he was extremely generous with his advice.
I'm no longer a student! Well, haven't quite graduated, but no more exams. EVER!
It's both an amazing feeling, but also a little bit scary. I can finally focus on the magic, and things seem to be falling into place, as I'll be returning to Belarus for 2 months to work with the amazing team at the Blue Sky Talent Company.
Three shows done!
The goal was to put on a quality evening to show people how amazing live variety can be, and I think we did it :)
Wow! I think that was the craziest weekend I've ever had! 7 shows in 3 days, I had a fantastic time in Belarus.
From the amazing welcome I received at the airport, it really was non-stop going straight from one show to the next! The trip was organised by the Blue Sky Talent Company, a new organisation which is doing wonderful things in Belarus.
