Sensation is a new show I’ve been working on for the last year. After months of planning it was a joy to see the show come to life on stage! Featuring some of my favourite performers, I was so pleased with how the how came together.
The Ehrlich Brothers came to London with trucks full of enormous magic! It was an incredible evening at Wembley Arena and great to see so many magicians there supporting them too.
Three years ago I travelled to Munich to watch a variety show. But this was not just your average show. A taxi ride to the what felt like the middle of nowhere took us to ‘Schuhbeck’s Teatro’; a stunning, intimate spiegeltent seating 2-300 people. The candles are lit, fine food is served and the show begins. The reason I was there? Two words: Marko Karvo.
It was a dream come true to perform at the historical City Varieties Music Hall. Dating back to 1865, so many legends have performed on this stage, from Charlie Chaplin to Laurel & Hardy, Harry Houdini and even the Chuckle Brothers!
Having been a fan of Magicseen magazine since their first issue back in 2005 , it feels surreal to now be in their pages! Graham Hey interviewed me not long after winning the Magic Circle competition.
Here’s a sneak peek of the feature…
I loved performing in ‘The Magnificent Music Hall’ at the beautiful New Wimbledon Theatre.
A show of its time, there really is nothing else like it. A spectacle of singing, dancing, acting, comedy and magic. You can’t see anything like it on TV, so go and see it live!
